Apartment M. K. - Interior Design Project
An exploration of tactility, proportion, and emotional stillness. This residence balances refined materials and muted palettes to create spaces that feel deeply lived-in, yet quietly elevated. FUV ARCHITECTS approaches each room not just as a function, but as an atmosphere — where light, tone, and texture shape the way one moves, rests, and reflects. The result: interiors that whisper, rather than shout — bold in their restraint, and timeless in their clarity.

The living room opens with a calming, gallery-like clarity — soft earth-toned walls and large-format flooring create a seamless canvas for movement and light. The architecture breathes through the generous spatial void, where ceiling heights and restrained lines emphasize volume over decoration. Natural light filters gently through sheer drapery, diffused across travertine surfaces and ash wood finishes. The result is an interior that feels expansive yet grounded, defined more by what is left out than what is added.

A closer view reveals the nuanced layering that brings the space to life. Textiles — wool, linen, velvet — add tactile warmth, while curated lighting washes the walls in soft glow. Art and objects are minimal, chosen not to fill space but to mark it: a ceramic piece, a framed abstract, a single olive branch in a dark vase. This room isn’t just composed — it’s composed for living. A meditative atmosphere emerges, inviting pause, conversation, and presence.

Furnishings enter as quiet statements — sculptural yet soft. A low, rounded sofa in creamy boucle anchors the seating area, counterbalanced by bold accent chairs in graphite and a coffee table that feels more like a carved monolith than a decorative piece. Every object is placed with intention, allowing negative space to carry equal visual weight. The palette stays muted — warm neutrals with occasional black accents — letting form, texture, and material do the storytelling.

A quiet retreat wrapped in oak, ivory, and shadow. The master bedroom invites slow mornings and hushed evenings, with layered textures that speak of comfort and craftsmanship. A soft headboard wall anchors the space, while bronze details glimmer softly under ambient lighting. Every surface is intentional — a room designed for rest, reflection, and intimate quiet.

Playful, balanced, and intuitively functional — the twin room explores the idea of symmetry without strictness. Pale timber frames and cloud-grey fabrics create a calm rhythm, while subtle pastel notes soften the geometry. Designed for flexibility, the space holds room for imagination, growth, and light. It's a modern take on youthful comfort, with design that matures gracefully.

Stone breathes beneath your feet. A backdrop of charcoal porcelain tiles grounds the space with quiet strength, while matte black fixtures slice through the calm with intention. Clean white volumes float effortlessly, framed by soft, indirect lighting. Here, contrast is a language — one that speaks of purity, stillness, and daily rituals turned sacred.
